5 US nationals nabbed in Sargodha being investigate

SARGODHA, Dec. 10: An Anti Organized-Crime Cell arrested as many as seven foreign nationals including five US citizens during raid on a house situated in Aziz Bhatti Town locality of Sargodha on Wednesday.
According to police sources, the apprehended foreign nationals are being investigated over the reasons of their arrival in Pakistan since Wednesday. Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) sources said they are in constant touch with Pakistani officials over the issue meanwhile, US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has stressed on the need to dismantle terrorists’ infrastructure being stabilized in Pakistan.
DPO Sargodha Dr. Usman Anwar told Geo News that the police raided the house of Khalid Farooqi, an activist of banned outfit Jaish-e-Muhammad, and arrested five foreign nationals from there. The five US national arrested foreigners include 2 Yemenis: Ahmed A Mani and Iman Hassan Yamir, 1 Egyptian: Ramay Zamzam, 1 Swedish and 1 US-born Pakistani: Waqar Hussain Khan.
The DPO told that these people, aged over 20 years, had been living in Sargodha since Nov 30 and it was quite a possibility that they were engaged in acts of terrorism. Security agencies have initiated further investigations in this regard. US Secretary of State Clinton, denying commenting on the issue, said we are concerned over the rising activities of terrorists’ outfits in Pakistan. Geo Tv
