Decision on appointment of governor based on interest of region; elected members to work day and night for the walfare of masses: Kaira

GILGIT, Dec.12: Qamar Zaman Kaira, federal minister for broadcasting and acting governor of Gilgit-Baltistan has said that decision on appointment of governor will be purely based on interest of region. He was talking to regional media persons. He said that Pakistan Peoples Party is committed to fulfil its promises made with the people. He said that it is now duty of the elected leadership to serve the people to come to their expectations. He said the country is facing law and order problem disclosing that there is chance of terrorist activities by evil forces to destablize the country.He appealed the religious scholars and leaders to play their role to ensure peace in the region.
