GILGIT, Dec. 21: (Shamsuddin Muhammad) According to a regional Urdu daily, Local administration Gilgit-Baltistan has imposed Sanction-144 in Gilgit-Baltistan region to avoid any mishap during holy month of Muharram and prohibited dual ride on bikes in the limits of the both cities in effect December 20 to next twenty days. The health ministry has established emergency control room in major hospitals and blood banks to handle the situation effectively in the region. A meeting presided by secretary health doctor Sohail Saqlain held in which special teams were constituted to remain alert 24 hours during the first ten days of the holy month.(Daily K2-Urdu
